Any tips on how to care for a mouse, like taming her?

I just got her and she bites but I am really nice to her I want to hold her and let her know I'm not going to hurt her.
Answers:
Just let her settle in. It can all be a bit daunting for an animal to come into a new home with new surroundings and people, so just give her time to relax and get used to her new home and then she will let you start petting her. It is mainly stress that is making her scared of you. Don't make sudden movements aroud her just be calm and lead the example. I hope this helps and she stops biting!
p.s it also might help to give her something to chew on to get her out of the habit of using you as a chew toy!
Go slower. Give her some time and make sure your hands don't smell like food. Hamsters bite if you smell like food.
Pick her up and sit in the bath(dry) with her. Hold her low. Let her run if she wants. If she runs from your hand and goes near you don't move
make sure you wash your hands before doing anything with your mouse. First before goig right in to picking it up just put your hand in the cage just hold it there for a while. Keep doing this every day until it doesn bite . Next just put your hand around , Dont pick it up but put your hand around like your going to . This is to let it know it is safe . keep doing this as much as needed until you can pick it up... Sometimes helps but it doesnt always
