yup i got mine at target. i just made a c%26c cage. the four pack means that there are four cubes not pannals. you might get them cheaper if u go to the store. mine were $15 for a six pack. the four pack should be enough but it really depends on what size cage ur building. please note that the cubes are acctually 14.5 so the mesure ments will be slightly different. good luck and thank you for being a responsible guinea pig owner and not cramming your guinea pig into a tiney cage.
these are storage cubes not animal cages go look at petco you could not use those storage cubes to house a guinea pig
It should be fine, a great choice, not sure how big the holes are but if the inner square dimensions are bigger than 1.5 inches than it is too big unless you have an adult or pregnant pigger. You may need cable tyres/zip ties as well as the connectors to add extra stability.
As for how many you will need, that depends on how many guinea pigs you want, and how big you want the cage, plus if you want an upper level you will need more grids. This is the main page of guinea pig cages (which you have probably seen), it includes dimensions on how big your cage should be for how many piggers you want:

Please add more detail and I will give you a more detailed answer.
Addition:
Raven and vet-soon-to-be: The storage cubes are not the actual cage, they go around the outside, with coroplast as the flooring. I am quite suprised you have not heard of this cage before as they are the best out there for guinea pigs. Here are some pics:

This form of cage is alot cheaper, and it gives you the flexibilty of making a multi level, inclosed, open cage, basically you can personalise it in anyway you want. Not only this but they offer far more space then the small ones which are totally unsuitable for guinea pigs that you get from a pet store.
Addition:
The storage cubes are not the cage. They are the sides for the cage, please check out the pics I listed above before stating wrong information.
Addition:
KatieKat1: Aquariums are NOT suitable for guinea pigs, they provide little airflow amongst other things. And if you actually looked into the cage that this person is interested in making you might learn that you can Cat and Dog safe it, so that animals can not get in.
Hello,I'm glad you had a link there so we can see the pics of the crates! As far as the bottom of the crate,I say no way, their little feet can slip through %26 break, also guinea pigs love to chew so the siding of the cage shouldn't be anything they can bite off or shave with their teeth like plastic, then it could get stuck in their intestines %26 cause major harm.So if the cage has a solid bottom %26 surrounding walls are chew proof %26 durable he should have a good home.I love those cute little piggies!Good luck to you both.
Addition:With the question %26 the link to Target,we took it the way most would,as those cubes being "the" cage was not trying to insult. The pictures on the other link look more like an acceptable cage.
I don't see how these could be accessible to a piggie. I mean the front is open, but how would they go from cube to cube as it's closed on 4 sides, isn't it? Think they would probably chew the white stuff off, too. I got a carrier for my daughter's from a thrift store. Took a bit of looking, but found it. When she was a baby, she was in a 10 gal fish aquarium. Now a medium sized dog would fit into her cage, lol. Got it for $20. Try Craigslist.com in your area, too.
Im not sure about the cube cage thing, do you have cats? They can probably get through that... you should get a glass one... its full proof... not only that, but you can probably find one really cheap at a garage sale.. the kinds you use for repiles are great,,, I have 5 cats and they can't get to my pig... plus she cant hurt herself in there and she can see whats going on! I got mine from my neighbor for only $20... it has a bottom storage part and its really big too! :)
im am guessing you are planing on building a c%26c cage as long as you buy the right supplies that will be a sutibale cage for your pigs. for the people who think that you are just going to stick you pigs in a c%26c cage has to be built i dosnt come put together for lazy people.
