my female guinea pig is all white. eyes are pink and they are almost transparent. her fur isnt so soft like other guinea pig has, it feels like if its artifical fur. but she is cute. I was wondering is she is an albino or just white guinea pig?

idk about guinea pigs but the same rule may aply. i know that with rats, even if they are all white with pink eyes, they are probably not albino. i read that the onlt TRUE ALBINO rats are genetically modified one from some certain lab. all of the others are just called pink eyed white (PEW)

Well judging by the way you describe her I'd say an Albino definatly the fur texture doesn't matter I had several coarse furred guinea pigs, it happens sometimes, but yes your bundle of fluffy joy is a precious and semi-rare albino.

i disagree with the person who said that guinea pigs cant be albinos all living things can be an albino even flowers!
