A mice and a gerbil as friends?

If i put a mice and a gerbil together, wat would happen? would they fight or live together?
Answers:
In addition to the answers already given: mice and gerbils are different species and have different housing requirements. So housing them together is not an option.
As for just placing them together to see what happens... keeping pets is not a game. Let the poor things interact with their own species and they will be happiest.
If you need more info on mice, let me know and I can send you some links. I know of a few good links on gerbil keeping, too, but I don't keep them myself, so I can't help out with specific info for them.
I'm aware this doesn't exactly answer your question, but, truth be told, I don't quite see the point of your question anyway. Caged rodent pets are better off housed with their own kind.
Greetz.

Most likely, they'd fight. There's always going to be exceptions to the rule.. but as long as it is the exception and not the rule, I wouldn't recommend it.
They'd probably fight. A hamster would kill a mouse, and a rat would eat it, but a gerbil, in a big enough space, might just ignore it for a while.
one would attack the other. the size differences and behaviors will cause great conflict
my friend tried to put a rat with a gerbil and the rat actually bit its eye out and now the gerbil can't use it, so i wouldn't put either if them in danger by putting them together
Ok I speak from experience it pretty much depends on their personalities. I had 5 male rats one time and I got a female hamster but her cage got broken so I had to put her with the rats for a few days until I couple scrap up the money for another cage...(although many may say this is BS they actually bred and the hamster had baby ramsters lol...no lie) as for a mouse and a gerbil I don't know if they'd get along because of the size difference...
