My hamster has had a funny looking growth on the outside of his left eyelid for quite some time and i didnt ask because it didnt seem to bother him. But now, he has ANOTHER similar growth thing on his right eyelid, but this time its on the inside. Because of that he cannot close his eye properly. He doesnt seem to be in much pain and is acting normally, but he has scratched it until some fur has fallen off and his eye is watery. This growth just popped up overnight and i wonder what it is and if theres anything i can do. Please help! Or could it be caused by old age? My hamster is about 3+ years old.

I would reccomend taking your hamster to the vet as soon as possible, by how you have described the reaction of his right eye it sounds like it is infected. Oh, try to keep him from scratching the wounds, this can only cause them to be more painful and in any case it could spread the infection. I believe it could be a skin disease or maybe an absess, but I'm not entirely sure, a trip to the vet is certainly the wisest thing to do. Please take your hamster to the veternarian. It could be anything.
get it to the vet, how would you like it if you had growths on your eye lids and your hamster just ignored it.
it sounds like it is caused by a virus or bacteria, be safe and talk to a vet incase its contagious
I don't know what to tell you. NO VETS! Come on, there has to be one! What country do you live in!!!
Maybe it's infected. Try going to a breeder.
Or maybe it's from old age.
