Why don't you just carefully introduce them to each other? I had a cat once that got along famously with my bird. They even played together. It was funny! Got it on tape. re4man Rabbits or rats are not carniverous.

Maybe my cat and rabbit got along just fine.
i have rats and GUINEA PIGS and i have never tried them together as i know that my rats (who are very friendly) would attack the guinea pigs and possibly kill, although rabbits are very different to guinea pigs i dotn think it is worth taking the risk as it may result into death.
